• Changes in ownership for the 2001 NWSBL season:

                    Gotham City -- Todd Stordahl (Gotham City will move to the National League)
                    Cape Fear -- Nick Chambers (Cape Fear will stay in the American League)
                    Regina -- Kevin Kerkof (Regina will move to the American League)
                    Fargo -- Lenny (Fargo will stay in the American League)
                    Panama and Tokyo will no longer be in the NWSBL

• Kevin Kerkof has annouced that the Regina franchise will move to Bradenton, FL and will be renamed the Bradenton Pirates
